The Brookline Recreation department is seeking qualified, energetic, and compassionate candidates for the 2025 summer camp season. Previous experience with camp programming is preferred. Hourly rates are based on camp position. The Summer Camp program will run from July 6, 2026 to August 14, 2026 at three elementary schools in Brookline, Ma.

Staff is required to attend 3 days of mandatory training during during the week of June 30 - July 2 with specific schedules to be determined. Below is a brief description of the open position. All candidates will go through a background check through the Criminal and Sexual offender database as required by the Town of Brookline health department.

BUS DRIVER

• Schedule: July 6, 2026 to August 14, 2026; M-F: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Pay Rate: $24 per hour
• Requirements: must be minimum 21 years’ old and and be able to drive a 14-passenger van, or mini bus
• General Responsibilities: Transport children and camp staff between pickup points, camp, and Evelyn Kirrane Aquatics Center. Responsible for lunch pick- up, supply pick-up and drop off at multiple sites throughout the camp day.
