2018 Summer Camp opportunities - Jr Counselor

The Brookline Recreation department is seeking qualified, energetic, and compassionate candidates for the 2018 summer camp season.  The Summer Camp program will run from July 2, 2018 to August 17, 2018 at Brookline High School, Lawrence Elementary, or Runkle Elementary School. Previous experience with camp programming and a background in working with children with disabilities is desired. Hourly rates are based on camp position. COUNSELOR EXTENDED

M-F 8:15am to 6:00pm, Must be minimum 18 years’ old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment.  Assist Extended Day Lead in supervision and management of campers during camp’s PM Extended Day hours

PARTNERS COUNSELOR

M-F: 11:45am to 6:00pm.  Must be minimum 16 years’ old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment.  Assist Extended Day Lead in supervision and management of campers during camp’s PM Extended Day hours

JR. COUNSELOR

M-F 8:15am to 4:00pm, Must be minimum 16 years’ old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment

JR. COUNSELOR EXTENDED

M-F 8:15am to 6:00pm, Must be minimum 16 years’ old. General Responsibilities: Be responsible for the welfare of each individual in the program and do all possible to resolve problems. Assist those campers who may have difficulty fitting into the camp environment.  Assist Extended Day Lead in supervision and management of campers during camp’s PM Extended Day hours.
